Chemical Industry

• interpretation of complex federal regulations affecting all stages of chemical manufacture and distribution, including Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act and hazardous waste regulations.

• representation of clients before state and federal regulatory agencies.

• advising clients with respect to the environmental implications of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, including identifying and assessing liabilities through environmental audits, performing environmental due diligence, and drafting and negotiating contract terms to address the allocation of risks and liabilities.
