Patricia Christensen has focused her practice on complex commercial litigation with particular emphasis on product liability defense litigation, arbitration, mediation and counseling.

Ms. Christensen has substantial experience representing product manufacturers in the pharmaceutical, medical products, building products, automotive, chemical, industrial equipment, industrial fluids, oil and gas, recreational equipment and household appliance industries. She has also served as an arbitrator for the Private Adjudication Center at Duke University, resolving product liability claims against trust funds established by the United States Bankruptcy Courts. In addition, Ms. Christensen has represented a broad range of commercial clients in litigation relating to antitrust, trademark, construction, contract dispute, real estate, securities, environmental and patent infringement issues.

Ms. Christensen has been a Director of Meritas, the largest organization of independent full-service commercial law firms in the world. She has also served as Co-Chair of Meritas' Litigation Section and Co-Chair of its Western U.S. Region. She is a former Director and past President of Women Lawyers of Utah, and has been an officer and Director of numerous charitable, civic and professional organizations. Ms. Christensen serves as a Judge Pro Tempore of the Third Judicial District Court. She is a former adjunct professor of law at the University of Utah College of Law and a former Legislative Assistant in the United States Senate. In 1992, Ms. Christensen was honored as Utah's Woman Lawyer of the Year and, in 1996, she received the Utah State Bar Association's Dorothy Merrill Brothers Award.
