Charles Maak was a founding member of the firm and is currently of counsel. Since 1969, he has represented clients in a broad range of matters involving real estate, including shopping centers, regional malls, office buildings, warehouse properties, subdivisions, condominium projects, and air rights developments. Mr. Maak is a former Visiting Professor of Law, Corporations and Securities, and Adjunct Professor of Law, Real Estate Development and Finance, at the University of Utah College of Law.

Mr. Maak captured a place of honor as Senior Statesman on the Chambers and Partners USA: America's Leading Business Lawyers directory. He is one of only 40 attorneys in the country and the only attorney on the list from Utah. Mr. Maak was also listed in Utah Business Magazine's 2008 Legal Elite, The Best Lawyers in America 2008 edition and the 2008 Mountain States Super Lawyers.
