Terry Welch is a member of the firm's litigation group with substantial trial, arbitration and mediation experience in federal and state courts for high-tech and innovative companies as well as Japanese and other international entities.

Mr. Welch has developed a reputation as a skilled IP and patent litigator. He has taken over several cases from national or Silicon Valley firms after having been hired originally as local or co-counsel. Mr. Welch has handled trials ranging from half-day, 4-person jury trials in state court to multi-week complex federal trials. He has handled dozens of mediations and arbitrations of all shapes and sizes relating to patents, trademarks, intellectual property, and products liability.

Clients contact Mr. Welch on broad-ranging issues including, most particularly, intellectual property disputes, patent litigation, products liability, manufacturer-distributor relations, and antitrust.
