email Timothy Smith is a registered patent attorney and a member of the firm's commercial litigation group. Mr. Smith assists clients ranging from individual inventors to large corporations including international companies. His emphasis is on patent prosecution and litigation as well as copyright and trademark litigation and drafting opinion letters.
Mr. Smith has been involved in patent prosecution and patent litigation covering a range of client products including particle counters, kidney dialysis, and bullet proof shoothouses, hot water heaters, ATV accessories, amusement park rides, antimicrobial agents, reinforced door hinges, aerial reseeding, and agglomerated minerals.
Mr. Smith graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with merit in 1990, and earned a Master of Science degree in International Relations from Troy State University in 1992. - "Protecting and Enhancing Intellectual Property Rights in the United States," presentation to clients and attorneys in Japan, 2003.
