email Timothy Smith is a registered patent attorney and a member of the firm's Litigation group. Mr. Smith assists clients ranging from individual inventors to large corporations including international companies. His emphasis is on patent prosecution and litigation as well as copyright and trademark litigation and drafting opinion letters.
Mr. Smith is also a member of the firm's Utah Freedom of Information Hotline response group. The Hotline provides free legal assistance to Utah journalists seeking access to government records, meetings and judicial proceedings.
Mr. Smith was listed in Utah Business Magazine's 2008 Legal Elite in business litigation. - "Protecting and Enhancing Intellectual Property Rights in the United States," presentation to clients and attorneys in Japan, 2003.
