Craig Parry practices general commercial litigation with an emphasis on intellectual property litigation and agreements to license or sell IP interests. Mr. Parry's practice frequently involves matters in the Pacific Rim area. He advises and represents numerous Japanese companies doing business in the United States and U.S. companies doing business in Japan. Mr. Parry frequently represents Japanese clients involved in litigation in the U.S. as well as U.S. clients involved in litigation with Japanese companies.

Representative Japanese clients include Rion Co., Ltd., Nagase Sangyo, Gastec Corp., Kamata Gakki, and Kajima Corporation. Mr. Parry works closely with several Japanese law firms to ensure U.S. clients are properly advised on all relevant aspects of Japanese law. Mr. Parry has also assisted U.S.-based multi-level marketing companies with compliance under Japanese law.

Before joining Parr Waddoups in 1995, Mr. Parry practiced at a Japanese law firm in Tokyo where he served as counsel for R.J. Reynolds Japan, Mitsui, Gallo Wines Japan, Mitsubishi, Matsushita and other multinational clients.

Mr. Parry was elected in 2006 to serve a three-year term on the board of Meritas Law Firms Worldwide, an international alliance of 170 commercial law firms with over 5,700 attorneys. He also has a strong sense of community involvement and is currently president of Mueller Park Pony Baseball League, a league providing opportunities for over 600 boys and girls to play baseball.
